São Paulo – A Eletrobras informou nesta terça-feira que assinou, na véspera, protocolo de intenções para participar do processo de saneamento financeiro da Companhia de Eletricidade do Amapá (CEA), o que deve resultar na aquisição do controle da distribuidora pela estatal.

Vale SA (VALE3), the world’s biggest iron- ore producer, hired Banco BTG Pactual SA and Bank of America Corp. (BAC)’s Merrill Lynch to sell a stake in its logistics unit for about $1 billion, according to two people with direct knowledge of the matter.

Rio de Janeiro – O banco BTG Pactual informou nesta terça-feira a conclusão da aquisição da Celfin.
Em fato relevante, a instituição disse que os então acionistas da Celfin e alguns de seus executivos passaram a deter indiretamente 2,2 por cento do capital social do banco e da BTG Investiments LP (BTGP), além de ações sem direitos econômicos na BTGP.
O BTG arquivou novo acordo de acionistas em que executivos da Celfin passam a ser signatários.
Segundo a instituição financeira liderada pelo banqueiro André Esteves, o negócio dá origem ao maior banco de investimentos da América Latina.

TORONTO, ONTARIO, Nov 14, 2012 (Menafn – Marketwire via COMTEX) –Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPPIB) announced today that it has signed an agreement to significantly expand its logistics real estate portfolio in Brazil through a joint venture partnership alongside Global Logistic Properties (GLP). The agreement involves the joint acquisition of two logistics portfolios in Brazil. CPPIB’s total commitment will be US343 million of which US200 million will be funded at closing.
